The new Motor Vehicle Engineering building is located on Leicester College's Abbey Park Campus - Skills Village site, and comprises circa 1000m2 of floor area. The new building provides motor vehicle engineering teaching facilities for 80 Pupils and 7 Staff. The layouts include a motor vehicle engineering teaching workshop with support storage space , two classrooms, staff room, reception, changing room and toilet facilities and a first floor plant room.

The building engineering services comprise specialist mechanical extraction systems for both motor car and motorcycle exhaust fumes, there is also a network of specialist compressed air systems throughout the workshop.

The classroom provides state of the art teaching facility including the Colleges interactive white boards and full Information Technology network derived from the remote main campus IT hub/server room.
